CMMS Application Consultant

We are looking for an CMMS Application Consultant to take EDMS’s explosive growth to a whole new level. In this role you will provide complex technical installation, implementation, and integration support services for clients; including data conversions, report development, ERP integration, API integration, and document services/solutions provided for project managers and clients throughout their organization through onsite and/or remote consultation sessions. You will use consulting skills, business knowledge and your keen sense of analysis to effectively integrate into the clients’ business environments to achieve client expected business results.


  • Work directly with clients to configure their CMMS system to meet their specific business needs.
  • Provide operational and process-related expertise and support in 4 key focus areas – data migration, report building, ERP integrations, and API integrations.
  • Help plan and manage the delivery of detailed system requirements and technical and functional specifications that align to existing standards and frameworks.
  • Contribute to project management activities and presales efforts such as: scoping and estimating project efforts, reviewing legacy data, scoping out data migration into FIIX, and documenting in a statement if work, identifying risks and recommending mitigation measures, communicating activity status, as well as escalating and communicating issues.
  • Ensure that data conversion documentation is captured, maintained, available to, and understood by business and/or IT partners.
  • Understand business data, data mapping, data manipulation, data conversion, and operational data models.
  • Perform data conversions and loads into FIIX.
  • Develop and deliver client-specific training programs during project implementation.
  • Develop and deliver client-specific training programs during project implementation.
  • Build out canned and/or custom reports using reports designer or iReports.
  • Schedule and execute Netsuite integrations for enterprise clients.
  • Act as an escalation point for any technical issues that may arise within these key areas.
  • Assist clients with end-to-end system testing and troubleshooting relating to key focus areas.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge documents for the key focus areas.
  • Work on special projects to help increase efficiencies across the technical implementations.
  • Work in conjunction with / mentor our junior team members with configuration, conversion, and process work.
  • Be available to travel to client locations around the world if needed.
  • Assists the tech support team with complex client issues from time to time.

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering preferred
  • 3+ years solid experience in software implementation; experience with SaaS or CMMS software is strongly preferred.
  • Proven customer-facing skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL and writing queries and knowledge of any reporting software.
  • On hands experience with setting up Integrations between enterprise systems, preferably with SaaS / PaaS like ‘Boomi’ is a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving acumen, including the ability to figure out how things should work, and to identify patterns and trends.
  • Ability to be flexible and respond to changing priorities.
